UNHCR Emergency Response Team

To strengthen the organisations engagement with existing donors and attract broader groups of supporters, Reading Room created an online identity for UNHCR Emergency Response Team that reflects the crisis-orientated, efficient, fast paced, involved nature of their work. Their new digital offering steers users on a journey from interest to action, transforming site visitors into advocates by giving UNHCR the means for a robust, online support community.

UNHCR and Ben Affleck's 'Gimme Shelter' appeal

To support UNHCR and Ben Affleck launching the 'Gimme Shelter' appeal, Reading Room created a high-impact online campaign including e-mails, display advertising, search engine marketing and a campaign website centred on driving awareness and engagement. Less than one month after the launch the campaign had generated over $20,000 in donations for the campaign which will continue to run throughout 2009.

The Benevolent Society

In consultation with Benevolent Society staff Reading Room conducted a series of user group interviews and consultation sessions that enabled us to create a website structure that more accurately addressed the concerns and needs of a wide user community. We developed a bespoke CMS and also worked with The Benevolent Society's branding agency to make the site consistent with their brand identity. The website has become an extremely well functioning tool and has been positively received by the Benevolent Society community.

WWF tasked Reading Room with communicating the depth of their organisation in the digital environment whilst remaining approachable and tangible.
