Reading Room Hunks Pose for Charity Calendar
24/01/2012 - Sydney
Always happy to go the extra mile, the digital consultancy’s finest have surrendered their dignity to model for the first ever Reading Room “Men in the Mirror” calendar, with all proceeds going to children’s hospice charity Shooting Star CHASE.
The calendar, designed in-house by Senior Creative Leonie Witten, sees men from across Reading Room’s global offices pose in front of the mirror, taking photos of themselves using their mobile phones, following the recent social media craze.
Embracing the challenge, the Reading Room hunks aim to raise money for Shooting Star CHASE, to bolster the £2,500 fundraising target of Reading Room London Director, Adam Portlock, as he takes on his London Marathon debut in April.
Adam commented: “I’m equally amazed and delighted to see the creativity and lack of modesty our reluctant stars have exhibited. It’s questionable which are aspiring models, attention seekers or simply gullible, however what is beyond doubt is their fun loving spirit and commitment to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause.”
Reading Room is already a supporter of the world's largest orphaned and abandoned children charity SOS Children's Villages, and works with many charity clients on their digital strategies including the Terrence Higgins Trust which has recently been recognised at the Stevies International Business Awards for the My HIV website.
