Reading Room gets Geared for Giving

Reading Room is pleased to announce that it has joined the Geared for Giving scheme, where employees can give to a good cause at work, directly from their salary.
Over 750,000 employees are part of the Geared for Giving campaign, and it has already raised pledged sums of over $1.3m annually, for over 1,000 different charities. Geared for Giving is the most tax effective way to give to charities, as each chosen charity receives donations tax free. So, what employees give could go up to 40% further.
Reading Room employees have taken the opportunity to give to their favorite charities such as Tommy’s charity, which funds medical research into pregnancy problems, and The Brooke, which improve the lives of horses, donkeys and mules working in the poorest parts of the world.
