Reading Room and QUT invite you to the first in our series of events - Citizen Engagement - 6th Mar

Reading Room and QUT are excited to bring you an engaging program that addresses big questions about the future of digital technology. “Citizen Engagement” is the topic for our first event.

Digital is transforming organisations around the world. Web 2.0, open data, digital democracy are all debates currently running through the corridors of power. With so many channels and so many opportunities, how do we capitalise on them? How do we make sure we use them successfully and protect our reputation? Join us for this evening of debate and see how they can be implemented in your organisation to engage with your audiences.

With a line-up of great speakers sharing expertise and first hand experience, we will outline why citizen engagement is so powerful and how you can utilise it in your organisation. A panel discussion will follow where you can ask questions and get advice from experts in the field.

There'll be time for some additional discussion with our speakers over free drinks after the event in the beautiful setting of The Cube - one of the world’s largest digital interactive learning and display spaces.

The event will be held on:

Wednesday 6th March 2013
5pm - 7pm

The Cube
QUT, Gardens Point Campus
2 George St
Brisbane, QLD 4000

We will provide complimentary drinks and canapés for you to enjoy during the briefing and have dedicated an hour for networking afterwards.
