Inforum Group's inaugural Brisbane Forum is being held on Tuesday 10th May at The Edge, State Library of Queensland in Southbank.

The Forum will look at the power and reach of social media and the way it has dramatically transformed the approach of many businesses in engaging new audiences and building brand recognition. Sarah Vick, CEO of Reading Room Australia, will moderate a panel of experts who will put in perspective the opportunities social media has created to communicate with wider communities. From brands to business to politics – the influence of social media can’t be ignored.

Marina has a strong background in content and brand creation and her previous roles include Publishing Director, EMAP Australia; Group Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Pacific Publications; General Manager, Magazines at Fairfax; and Publisher, Independent Digital Media, a portfolio of women's online magazines.

Lucie Snape, Digitial Strategist, social@Ogilvy, Ogilvy PR. Lucie joined the social@Ogilvy practice in March 2012 with more than ten years marcomms
experience in both traditional and online media. Lucie is on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, Tumblr, GooglePlus and AsiaDigitalMap.com.

Dave Earley has a long history in Australian social media, having created some of Australia’s first mainstream media Twitter accounts in 2007 while at The Courier-Mail, and recognised as an early pioneer in mobile and social media journalism.
