Reading Room launches Internship Program

5th May 2011

Talent.

It comes in many forms, across many skillsets, and sometimes the best talents are the hidden ones. We know talent when we see it, and more importantly we look for untapped potential. Reading Room’s Internship Program is a place to discover yourself by stepping out of your comfy shoes into the great unknown. Creativity is at the heart of everything we do and every staff member brings something unique to the table. With an A list of top tier clients you won’t be making tea & coffees but instead diving in head-first to experiences and responsibilities that will propel you as far upwards as you’re willing to go.

Work?

Yes, you will be highly engaged in actual industry leading work! Nothing good ever comes without hard work, and as much as we like to have fun each week, we do earn the contents of the magical ever refilling beer fridge! Curious to know what the victory of winning a pitch against a slew of big multinational agencies feels like?

Reading Room is dedicated to helping our interns work towards reaching their maximum potential. By aligning this to the needs and direction of Reading Room as a business it is intended that this will produce the skills and knowledge that will support the business as it grows. Interns will typically experience an acceleration of their career as a result of the program.

In order to excel interns should exhibit one or more of the following characteristics:

> untapped potential in their desired career path

> under-utilised knowledge or interest in a specialist area

> leadership potential

> be interested in design, development or project management.

Personal development goals and subsequent mentorship are part of the journey we will be sharing and as a team member your contributions will be highly valued. So you already know that digital is in your blood and this is the future you want to be a part of? Tell us – and let us know why you want to take the first step in the right direction with Reading Room.

Say hello here and give us a reason to say Hi back!
