Microsoft Imagine Cup – Industry Mentor

Reading Room is currently mentoring a team of QUT students participating in the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition, and we are very excited to announce they sent in their submission yesterday!
The Microsoft Imagine Cup is the world’s premier student technology competition. The idea is to show how technology can help solve the world’s toughest problems. Student teams compete worldwide in an attempt to tackle issues related to hunger relief, poverty, education, disease control, healthcare, the environment and other crucial problems facing our world today. http://imaginecup.com/
Whilst we can’t reveal what they’re working on, we are very happy to say that the team has developed a unique and interesting solution to a health care and disaster prevention challenge. It’s great to see young talent banding together to solve the world’s toughest problems, and we are extremely proud to a participate in the competition as Industry Mentors.
